Oatmeal  Walnut Raisins Cookies

Ok, here it is a healthy recipe, take out the cup of graulated sugar and you are there. The oat help to put this recipe there. The best thing about the Cookies are that they are easy to make. don't forget the milk!!

  • 1 cup of butter
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • 1 ½ tsp of pure vanilla
  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. of baking soda
  • ½ tsp. Salt
  • 4 cups of Oat or Quick Oats
  • 1 cup of Raisins or Cranberries
  • ½ cup of Walnuts

Heat oven to about 375 degrees In a large bowl, blend the butter with sugar, adding sugar gradually. Add the eggs, milk and vanilla, beat well. Add flour, salt and soda beat well. Stir in walnuts and Raisins. Make round tablespoons of dough on to a cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Cook for about 13 -15 minutes take out of oven let stand for about 5 minutes.
